19" front wheel
The 19" inch front wheel is specifically designed to optimise off-road riding. Featuring Aluminium hubs and rims with tangential spoked for tubeless tyres.
Pirelli tyres
Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres, 110/80 R19 on the front, with 150/70 R17 on the rear.
Tall seat height
With the 19" front wheel and longer travel suspension (compared to Stradale) the seat height increases to 840mm. These characteristics make it easier to tackle the typical obstacles encountered when riding off-road.
Compact windscreen
Xplorer's adventurous spirit is immediately apparent from the front view, thanks to the compact windscreen with its particularly sophisticated shape. The quadrilateral frame, which define the position of the manually adjustable windscreen, stands out as both an aesthetic and technical feature, combining functionality with striking visual presence.
TRK family elements
Designed by the Benelli Centro Stile, Stradale retains elements from the previous TRK series like the prominent front fairing and distinctive double-arch headlight.
Distinctive fuel tank
The uniquely shaped fuel tank is made entirely of metal, and the plastic cover above is limited to the upper section only, leaving the area in contact with the riders legs exposed. This benefits both the aesthetics and the riding position, thanks to the rear section facing the rider - which is particularly tapered - and a slender central section.
904cc engine
The new 904cc forward facing twin-cylinder unit with four valves per cylinder is optimised for long journeys and developed to deliver the best performance at low and medium revs - the ranges most frequently used in everyday riding. Torque is high right from the start, peaking at 90Nm at 6,500rpm, whilst maximum power of 93bhp is reached at 9,000rpm.
Bosch ECU with slipper clutch
The intake system is new, featuring a dual 46mm electronic throttle body operated by a ride by wire system controlled by a Bosch Motronic ECU, the industry benchmark for reliability and performance. A slipper clutch comes as standard.
New frame
The new frame, developed by the R&D department in Pesaro, Italy, consists of a tubular trellis frame with steel reinforcement plates designed to ensure the correct torsional stiffness for a satisfying riding experience in all conditions.
Top-class suspension
43mm upside-down Marzocchi forks, adjustable for rebound, compression, and preload, and rear mono shock with remote adjuster allowing convenient adjustment of the hydraulic rebound damping and spring preload.
Brembo monobloc calipers
The brakes, supplied by Brembo, feature two 320mm semi-floating discs at the front, with radial-mount monobloc calipers featuring four pistons actuated by a radial-mount pump. At the rear there is a 260mm disc, actuated by a traditional two-piston caliper.
Traction control and Riding modes
TRK 902 Xplorer offers three riding modes, Normal, Rain and Sport, which allow the rider to customise the bike's behaviour according to different riding conditions. The bike features a traction control system that can also be deactivated.
Bosch cornering ABS
TRK 902 Xplorer is fitted with Bosch cornering ABS which can be de-activated at both the front and rear for off-road riding.
Cruise control
A simple to use Cruise control system is fitted as standard.
Tyre pressure monitoring system
Also fitted as standard is a TPMS tyre pressure monitoring system.
Quick shift
A quick shifter, allowing for smooth and immediate gear changes is fitted as standard, and can also be deactivated.
Passanger handholds
Another design feature is the passenger handholds, made from a single piece of reinforced nylon, which serve as structural, functional and aesthetic elements, perfectly integrated into the overall design of the tail section.
Long range
The 21 litre tank capacity combined with the excellent average fuel consumption ensures a long range for covering great distances.
Hand guards
At the front of the bike the indicators stand out, moved from their traditional position to the hand guards.
Integrated spot lights
LED spot lights are fitted as standard and placed in a highly protected area and distinctive location.
First class electronic features
Considering Benelli's commitment to satisfying even the most demanding motorcyclists, the Xplorer boasts first class electronic and technical features. The 7-inch TFT dashboard, with Bluetooth and Wifi connectivity, allows riders to easily monitor all the bikes parameters via an intuitive and easy to read interface. It also integrates with telephone functions, turn-by-turn navigation and maps, thanks to a dedicated APP.
ADAS Radar system
In terms of active safety, Xplorer is equipped with an advanced ADAS system featuring radar technology that integrates Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Change Assist (LCA) and Rear Collision Warning (RCW). The system monitors the area behind the bike and the blind spots, alerting the rider to the presence of vehicles via indicator lights on the dashboard, LED's integrated into the rear view mirrors and an audible warning. Each function can be managed individually, allowing the rider to customise the level of assistance.
Heated seat
A three level heated seat is fitted as standard for enjoying Xplorer 365 days a year and travelling in all climates and altitudes.
Heated grips
Three level heated grips are fitted as standard to ensure you keep dexterity in your fingers to control Xplorer all year round.
USB
Xplorer is fitted with a USB charger as standard, allowing you to charge your devices on the move.
Centre stand
Essential for maintenance and for stabilising the bike when fully loaded, a centre stand is fitted as standard.
Protective features
Included as standard on Xplorer are tubular crash bars, a typical protective feature of crossover models.
Structural reinforcements
Xplorer has a generous Aluminium skid plate for added protection.
Italian design
Designed in Italy, Xplorer is available in three colour options, Jungle Fog Green, Dune Sea and Cement Grey.
